ABOUT ME!
Sara is a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor based in Phoenix, Arizona. Her Passion for dance started at the young age of 3 years old. Training in a variety of styles for over 20 years, Sara has found how powerful versatility can be, not only in dance but in life. She grew up enjoying the sweat of the studio, the sparkle of the stage, and in 2015 Sara began her teaching career. She fell in love with inspiring young dancers to be their best through hard work, determination, and a positive attitude.
After getting her undergraduate degree in fine arts, Sara continued her professional dance career going on tour with the Utah Ballroom Dance Company. Shortly after this contract she joined the entertainment team at Six Flags Over Texas for their Halloween and Christmas seasons. Sara continues to pursue her biggest dreams in her performance career, while expanding her creativity through choreography.
Choreographing from a young age, Sara has made it a goal to impact audiences through relatable topics, storytelling, and memorable movement. Throughout her dance years she has had the opportunity to work with the most wonderful and inspiring instructors. To further her training she continues to get new certifications and take classes. Sara takes a lot of pride in the work that she puts on the stage whether its her own performance or her choreography. Knowing that performing on stage is a blessing, she cherishes every moment she gets to perform!
Beginning and ending each day with gratitude and a positive mindset, Sara does her best to live a well-balanced life through the spirit, mind, and body. When she is not dancing or teaching she LOVES to go on outdoor adventures, tasting yummy gluten-free treats, planning themed parties, journaling, and trying new things!
Sara wants to thank her family, friends, students, and instructors for always supporting and believing in her. She wants to send a special thank you to her parents for teaching her kindness and giving everything they can to support her dreams, and to her instructors for instilling hard work, and a can do attitude that has helped make Sara who she is today!
